Regardless of how different we may be in our beliefs, let us seek to find the many ways we agree and avoid conflict. Look for how we can reach out to others who are afraid, and try to comfort them, let us try to allay their fears. Let us send messages of love, peace, harmony, unity and hope.

In thinking about depicting Love, Peace and Unity my mind is invaded with possibilities of such an immense field of thought. So yes, narrowing thoughts to what gives me all three then this artwork works as it places me in a sailing vessel, experiencing a stiff onshore breeze on a glorious summer day with a clear mountain view. That certainly spins all three words into one sentence. I am at peace, being carried by the breeze, experiencing my deep love of the sea, feeling unified with the deep aura of the natural world. ~ Peter N. Van Giesen

For me, butterflies symbolize rebirth, resilience, hope, peace and the freedom of love. It speaks of the powerful transformation from constriction and things hidden (cocoon), into the wings of freedom built from faith to float on the winds of change. Love equals unity and peace. Separation equals fear and hate. To choose love and unity is to leave fear behind and trust your ability to soar on the wings of love. ~ Bren Sibilsky

Color, a universal language that transcends words, plays a pivotal role in my artwork. The colors associated with chakras guide the visual narrative of transformation. In the painting “Re-Union”, red symbolizes the Root Chakra (Muladhara) which is the energy located in the legs and corresponds to our identify, our family, our roots. ~ Rajul Shah

An acrylic painting of two koi fish swimming in a bright blue pond. In Feng Shui Koi fish are especially beneficial for Wealth and Blessing. Two Koi fish, a Kohaku Koi and a Kuchibeni Koi, swim clockwise through time in a never ending circle, they are in harmony with each other and their surroundings of fresh blue water in a pebbled pond with lotus flowers, which is good for the Love and Relationship area of your home. ~ Julia Underwood

“Creating art connects me to a beautiful place within myself where stories lay waiting for an opportunity to be expressed. I strive to create an expression of feminine softness within my art to communicate emotion, a sense of harmony, depth and texture.” ~ Agnes Jorgensen
