A Happy, Energetic and Eye-Catching Color
When it comes to the healing power of color we know that a certain color has the ability to soothe your frazzled nerves, empower you to take action, and also to bring healing energy when you need it. As Wassily Kandinsky proclaimed, “Color hides a power still unknown but real, which acts on every part of the human body.” In this presentation, several of The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS online gallery artist members celebrate the color orange in a variety of sizes, subjects, styles and mediums.
This is one in a series of online exhibitions that spotlight the healing power of color by artist members and more art from this website.

Art and Statements About the Color Orange
Orange is the color of joy and creativity. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared. Sunsets have always provided me with this atmospheric emotion.

Early morning twilight dazzles my senses reminding of the reoccurring blessings each new day can bring. In this memory I was up early on my sailboat, in a safe harbour, sipping a hot beverage enjoying the full color drama of the new day unfolding.

For the past ten years, I have been photographing the yearly Tulip Festival in Albany, NY. I always feel like a kid in a candy-store when surrounded by this wonderland of color. The red-orange tulips are my favorites, and I have photographed them every year. In this photograph, they provide an exciting background for dark violet tulips with their bright green stems. This burst of color is thrilling to me.
Tanis Bula
I loved the vibrant colors. The colors become more important than the flowers themselves.

I love Renee Phillips and all she does for Artists to include them in her news and shows. I’m concerned because although I was included in the fall show, I’ve looked for but can’t find Call for Artists for the 2024 “ about “ Her” show or the “annual Color show. Am I missing something ? Are you doing these exhibitions this year? I have some new paintings and would like to continuing entering shows. I’ve even don orange in paintings for this year. Thanks.
