Carole Claude T. is a multi-talented artist and writer whose quintessential artistic style embraces her powerful intuition and her innate talent as an imaginative storyteller. Her narratives enlighten us and ignite our sense of childlike curiosity and awe about the universe, spirituality, human experience, and nature.
Carole’s subjects range from whimsical and idyllic to profound and contemplative. They are enlivened with an eclectic cast of symbolic characters that encompass religion, literature, fables, allegory, and beguiling musings. She provides for viewers an endless rhythmic flow of emotive associations and message-driven concepts. The more time we spend viewing them we discover myriad visualizations and interpretations that exist in our conscious and subconscious realms.
Many of her drawings arouse intrinsic feelings and ideas about our beliefs, and interconnections with higher powers, Mother Nature and all living creatures.
Her original drawings are created with colored pencils, pastels, and a fine black marker pen. All drawings are created on A4, sketch paper, 8.3” x 11.7”. She also offers high resolution, digital format reproductions. All sales from those prints go to charity. Information can be found on her website.
One of the organizations she supports is WIRES, which has been rescuing and caring for native animals for over 35 years with a mission to rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife. About “Nature Nurtures, But…” Carole explains this important message: “I’m suggesting that there is a limit to what She can do on her own.”
Carole’s adept use of harmonious and versatile colors, expert placement of forms, and detailed lines magically coalesce into unending sources of heightened perception. As her visual stories unfold they take us on paths of self-discovery.
With bold confidence Carole animates life’s challenges, mysteries, and questions. “Following Julia”, shown below, was inspired by Saint Therese de Lisieux, the patron saint of a friend of Carole’s. Her personal associations and iconography are translated into illuminated universal messages.
Carole’s extraordinary mark-making skills possess the whimsical spontaneity we associate with art by Chagall, Picasso, and Miro. The artist refers to her imaginative drawings as “Doodles”, a name that evokes the random artistic elements of automatic drawing by the surrealists. However, her contemporary style is uniquely her own.

I am privileged to be able to call Carole my neighbour and friend. She is kind and thoughtful to all in our little community.
I am fortunate to have a couple of Carole’s art work. I am particularly fond of The Beautiful Lady as it reminds me of Carole’s dear mother. I love the many pieces depicting her dear little dog with his round face and beautiful eyes, he is very special to me.
Thank you Carole for your friendship and caring ways and for introducing me to your unique art work

Carole’s creativity is simply boundless and all-encompassing. When looking at her drawings , I feel that there is a sense of inclusiveness that guides her freely without any boundary as she ‘doodles’ away and create these wonderful drawings.

I am Julia, a friend of Carole and a member of her Art group. I make suggestions and am the instigator of the saints – Hugh with his pet swan, Julie who escaped authority in a farm cart, Jean D’Arc burned at the stake, Mary Magdalen who washed Jesus’ feet, all offering artistic opportunities to an artist of imagination like Carole. Now she has embarked on a couple of national hero’s- Boadicea and Vertingetorix. What next?

All of Carole’s artwork is so deep and holds a lot of meaning and I think each piece is like a chameleon and each person will get something different out of her work every time they look at it. Carole’s artwork reminds me of Kahlil Gibran in his book The Prophet. I read that book first over 50 years ago and reread parts of it every now and again and no matter how many times I have read a particular part in his book, the meaning and lesson changes each time for me. It is the same when I look at her artwork… it is so deep and has so many wonderful messages if one takes the time to REALLY look.

It is wonderful
I just read and it is a lovely description about Carole’s art!
It is amazing the connection with power of healing her art can have.
And her doodles have many layers…each time you look at them new things appears…and sometimes I think…was there since the first time I looked at them…why I am seeing just now…and if you blur your gaze…also new things appears…
I have a project for one of my walls to put three of her doodles – that for some reason – capture my eyes…
