Chalda Maloff creates life-affirming, nature-inspired artwork enriched with arresting luminosity and spatial depth. She conveys a profound understanding of our multi-faceted relationship with co-existing life forces and their empowering energies as they impact human experience and emotions. Shown here are her extraordinary works of art “Desire”, “Breath”, and “October” from her “Botanic Abstracts” series.
She immediately transports us to expansive realms and heightens our awareness of the botanical world. As we gaze into tranquil, reflective floral motifs immersed in aquatic pools and spacious light-filled vistas we encounter windows of unlimited potential. We feel an inspired sense of contemplation, wonder and discovery.
Chalda has an extensive range of skills in digital art and employs the creative elements of techspressionism. She combines freehand tablet drawing, digital effects and filters and occasionally she incorporates a scan of one of her drawings. Her artistic vocabulary encompasses breathtaking backlighting and a delightful panoply of soothing colors. An animated medley resounds as she orchestrates bold organic forms, variegated marks, and clusters of circular patterns.
In Chalda’s mesmerizing compositions we observe myriad references to the elements of earth, water and air that coalesce in harmony. The semblance of living organisms on a cellular level and in full bloom suggests such primordial references as fertility, growth, evolution, and rebirth.
Refreshingly, Chalda’s imagery is buoyant, unencumbered, limitless, and timeless. It permeates our consciousness and provides an escape from hard edges and boundaries, and from physical and mental distractions. We enter a state of relaxation and renewal and succumb to the present moment, trusting in the unfolding energy of natural healing and wholeness to prevail.
Chalda generously provides the therapeutic power of art through her creative expression. May her art continue to expand in a growing number of medical treatment facilities, places of business, and our homes to fulfill our vital need for the transformative process of healing.
