Frankie Hsu is a Brooklyn, NY-based artist, whose ethereal abstract paintings immediately lift the viewer to an atmospheric world of wonder and evoke a sense of well-being. Her works of art explore the spiritual and transformative qualities inherent in nature and our relationship with it. She reminds us to revere, protect and take action to preserve nature.
Frankie also raises our awareness of the cosmic energy beyond our physical realm and inspires us to envision unlimited possibilities in the powerful, far-reaching universe and in our lives.
For these reasons I selected her art to be included in “The Healing Power of ART In Honor of Nature” exhibition. I also chose her to receive a Featured Artist Article Award. As director and curator of The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS, an initiative of Manhattan Arts International, I am honored to present this featured article about Frankie Hsu. This award has been given to only three artists in the exhibition.

When Frankie submitted her art to “The Healing Power of ART In Honor of Nature” exhibition she wrote, “My inspiration emerges from complex natural elements such as microscopic spheres and the celestial cosmos. Highlighting the tension between the physical and the otherworldly, my work embraces the ethereal elements found in flora, fauna, wind, and water. My paintings allude to cloud formations and evanescent waves as they capture ephemeral moments.”
In reference to the healing power of art she added, “A metaphorical reference to hope and positive possibilities as they allow me to remove myself from the struggles of daily life and examine the broader landscape.”
